Man With Axe Attacks Chinese Restaurants in New Zealand

Four people were injured in attacks on three Chinese restaurants in New Zealand.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Police said a man with an axe attacked three Chinese restaurants in New Zealand. Four people were injured in the attack. The injured have been admitted to a hospital.

"The accused started the attack around 9 pm on Monday. On Monday, the suspect attacked albany, a north Auckland suburb. A 24-year-old suspect was arrested at the scene and charged with causing grievous bodily harm. Police did not immediately say the cause of the attack.

On Tuesday, Auckland City Hospital said one of the victims was in stable condition. North Shore Hospital said one of the injured was moderately injured and the other slightly injured, two of whom were in stable condition and another patient was released. 

Acting Detective Inspector Timothy Williams said police will file more complaints. The suspect will appear in court on Tuesday. '
