BY A STAFF REPORTER: More than 2,000 people are expected to die in the devastating floods caused by Cyclone Daniel, which has spread to eastern Libya. Osama Hamad, president of Libya's eastern parliament-backed administration, confirmed the death toll on Monday.
Osama Hamad said in a press statement that their residential areas, including thousands of residents, had been washed away at sea and that the situation in Libya was catastrophic and unprecedented.
