BY A STAFF REPORTER: Israeli forces and Hezbollah militants exchanged fire on the Israeli-Lebanese border on Saturday after a ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian group Hamas collapsed in Gaza.

Hezbollah said it fired rockets at an Israeli position. The Israeli military said two mortar bombs fired from Lebanon landed in an open area across the border from the village of Marwahin in southern Lebanon. The military said it responded by striking the launch site and other locations in southern Lebanon.
