Israeli forces in gaza captured over 200 terror operatives

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The IDF and Shin Bet said more than 200 Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad militants were captured in the Gaza Strip last week and taken for questioning.

Hundreds of suspects were detained in the Strip last week, including more than 200 being brought to Israel for questioning by the Shin Bet and Unit 504 of the Military Intelligence Directorate, the joint statement said.

The statement said some detained Hamas and Islamic Jihad members hid among the civilian population and later surrendered to soldiers.
