Israeli airstrikes kill 254 and injure 562 in Gaza

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Hamas said at least 254 people had been killed and 562 wounded in Israeli military air strikes on Gaza in the past 24 hours. Earlier in Gaza, the Palestinian Health Ministry said at least 2,778 people had been killed and 9,938 wounded in Israeli air strikes in the past 10 days. 

A health ministry spokesman said 1,200 people, including 500 children, were missing under the rubble. 

Since October 7, 3,731 residential buildings have been completely destroyed, more than 10,000 housing units and 18 schools have been severely damaged in air strikes, the statement said.
