Israel strikes syrias aleppo airport

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Israel launched an airstrike on Syria's Aleppo airport on Saturday night. "Israeli enemies launched an airstrike targeting Aleppo International Airport from the Mediterranean side west of Latakia, causing material damage to the airport and was out of service," the ministry said. The Israeli military did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The airport in the Syrian capital Damascus and the northern city of Aleppo reopened on Saturday after israeli forces damaged runways in simultaneous missile attacks. Damascus airport is still closed.
