Israel Netanyahu says fighting resumes after Hamas violated outline of truce

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement released by his office on Friday that the Israeli military had resumed fighting Hamas after Hamas broke the framework of the ceasefire in Gaza.

"Today, Hamas did not respect the obligation to release all the abducted women and fired rockets at the citizens of Israel," Netanyahu said. ' 

"With the return of combat missions, the Israeli government is obliged to achieve its combat objectives. Their goals are to release hostages, wipe out Hamas, and ensure that Israelis from Gaza never again face the threat of attack. "
