By Avijit Nandi Majumdar: French in India may not support France President Emmanuel Macron. ANM Neas stumbled on an interesting fact. There are about 5000 people of dual citizenship. They are Indian and French and can vote in elections in France. They have Indian and Frence passport and speaks Tamil and French fluently. The French international school offers higher secondary courses in French, English,Tamil and German. ANM News met Mani Manimar, President of the parents association of France International School. He mentioned that most of the people who are dual citizens, support Jean-Luc Melenchon, a far left politician in France. Manipur showed us a video of his appeal to French nationals in India to support and cast vote for Melanchon during the 2022 elections. At the request of ANM News, Manimar made an appeal in French and Tamil for the viewers.   It is indeed surprising that an Indian can vote in French elections and is equally concerned about their other country. Manimar informed that they most of the people of dual citizen alternate between India and France. They have houses in both the countries.
