The second India-UK 2+2 Foreign and Defence Dialogue was held today in New Delhi, with both nations engaging in discussions to enhance their comprehensive strategic partnership. The talks covered a wide range of issues, emphasizing the importance of sustained high-level engagement to further strengthen the dynamic relations between India and the UK.
Delegations from both countries reviewed progress made under the India-UK Roadmap 2030 and highlighted the need to revitalize the partnership by exploring new areas of collaboration. A key outcome of the dialogue was the agreement to work towards a refreshed roadmap that would guide future cooperation in various sectors.

Looking ahead, both sides agreed that the third edition of the dialogue will take place in the UK at a mutually convenient date in 2025, signaling continued efforts to build on the partnership's momentum. The dialogue serves as an important platform for addressing key defence, security, and foreign policy issues, with both countries working towards deeper cooperation in these areas.
This meeting reflects the growing strategic ties between India and the UK, with both nations committed to expanding their collaboration and strengthening bilateral relations in the years ahead.
