Delhi: The third India-Japan 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue took place in Delhi today, with External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar emphasizing the extensive and productive discussions on defense and security issues. Dr. Jaishankar also held a separate meeting with Japanese Foreign Minister Kamikawa to address bilateral, regional, and international concerns.
He noted that the Indo-Pacific region and the global environment have become more complex since their last meeting in Tokyo two years ago. Highlighting the importance of transparency, predictability, and resilience, Dr. Jaishankar reiterated the strong stance of India and Japan against terrorism, including cross-border terrorism.
