IDF spokesman says troops have killed more than 2000 Hamas gunmen

BY A STAFF REPORTER: IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said IDF troops had killed more than 2,000 Hamas members in the Khan Younis area so far.

"In the south, fighting is centered around the capital of Hamas, Khan Younis, where soldiers are working concentrigently to oust Hamas," Hagari said. More than 2,000 Hamas activists have been killed in Khan Younis since the army launched an offensive in the south of the valley last month. ' 

"Many Hamas commanders have been killed, fled and surrendered to IDF troops. Soldiers also arrested many Hamas gunmen who took part in the Oct. 7 attack. "
