IDF soldier dies of wounds sustained in Gaza fighting

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Israel Defense Forces announced that a soldier who was seriously wounded during fighting in the central Gaza Strip on November 8 has died today. The deceased soldier was identified as Staff Sergeant Yehonatan Yitzhak Semo, 21, of the 202nd Battalion of Paratroopers from Karmei Zur. Semo's death brings the number of soldiers killed in Israel's ground operations in the Gaza Strip to 37.
