IDF says troops advance in southern gaza

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The IDF said troops from the 7th Armoured Brigade had advanced further into southern Gaza and raided Hamas installations in Khan Younis. The IDF said its intelligence headquarters was responsible for all Hamas intelligence activity in the Khan Younis area, and had also found a Palestinian Islamic Jihad command center in the same complex. According to the IDF, the soldiers recovered "very valuable" intelligence from the scene.

Meanwhile, Gibti Brigade soldiers raided several other Hamas facilities in southern Gaza and were killed by sniper fire and tank fire, the IDF said.
