IDF announces airstrikes on Hamas command rooms

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The IDF said it carried out airstrikes on several Hamas command rooms in the center of the Gaza Strip this morning.

The IDF said the strikes were carried out based on intelligence that Hamas members had gathered at the site, known as the "operational headquarters" of Nusseirat and Deir al-Balah.

The IDF has carried out only limited ground operations in Nusseirat and Deir al-Balah, and the remaining two Hamas battalions in the area are believed to be largely effective.
