Sources close to Raj Bhaban indicated that Governor enquired into their allegations and found out that most of the council members are turn coats who have been changing political colour by the day. Sources claimed that taking all of these into consideration Governor disbanded the council and placed it under Governor’s rule. Earlier ruling Zoram People Movement (ZPM), the ruling party in Mizoram alleged that Governor Singh’s decision goes against the wishes of the people.
