Terrible war! New weapons are coming

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Germany has pledged to send 700 million euros ($770 million) worth of weapons and military packages to Ukraine.

In a statement, the German Defense Ministry said the equipment it would provide included two Patriot launchers and 40 mortar infantry combat vehicles. In addition, they will send 25 Leopards 1A5 main battle tanks and five Bergepanzer IIs from industrial stock or industrial reform.

Germany has pledged a total of 31 items from the Bundeswehr's stockpile, including 20,000 rounds of artillery ammunition and 5,000 rounds of 155 mm smoke ammunition, the statement said. Germany will also send a Luna drone system and a mine interdiction package.
