BY A STAFF REPORTER: Australian Defence Minister Richard Marless said four military officers were missing after a helicopter crashed during a major military exercise off the country's northeast coast. MRH-90 Taipan crashed on Queensland's Hamilton Island late on Friday night.
"The families of the four airmen have been informed of the incident and our hopes and condolences are with the airmen and their families," he said. The rescue operation will continue on Saturday. '
