BY A Staff Reporter: A former BNP lawmaker, Salauddin Babu, is accused of land grabbing in Ashulia in Dhaka in Bangladesh. The septuagenarian victim, Netai Mondol claimed that the lawmaker has grabbed more than 12 bighas of land. The former BNP lawmaker has even rented out the property to another party and is collecting money while the victim Netai is moving from pillar to post. Meanwhile, Babu, on the run, is keeping tabs on the property. Netai claimed that despite being a notorious character, the AL government has so far been silent on Babu. Netai has appealed to land minister Narayan Chandra Chanda and home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal for stringent action against the former BNP lawmaker and recovery of his property. ANM News tried to get in touch with Babu but he did not receive calls.
