Fire breaks out at hospital, 2 injured

BY A STAFF REPORTER: On Sunday, a fire broke out at the Far Saul mental health center in Jerusalem. The government mental hospital is located between Givat Shaul and Har Nof areas northwest of the capital.

Hospital workers and firefighters quickly evacuated patients from the fire area to other departments, the health ministry said in an announcement.

All patients are safe, but two workers working to extinguish the fire and conduct the initial rescue search suffered smoke inhalation and were taken to Hadassah Medical Center for treatment. They were fully aware.
