EXCELLENT HISTORICAL JOURNEY THROUGH DANCE

Ina Stašević from Croatia: The Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb/Croatia, on the initiative of His Excellency Raj Kumar Srivastava, Ambassador of India, hosted the Bhangra Folk Dance group from Punjab. The Museum of Modern Art is a fairly large museum in Zagreb for all lovers of modern and contemporary art with an excellent collection of paintings and drawings by local artists that depict history and politics in intriguing works of art.

In that great ambience, very well-presented Punjabi folk songs and dances were performed by dancers who portrayed the brave history of Punjab. Traditional songs full of life, joy and celebration, the vibrant culture of rural Punjab. Through the dance performance, I experienced and absorbed the history of Punjab. A must-have experience for all ages. India never disappoints me!
