BY A STAFF REPORTER: According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), a 4.2-magnitude earthquake hit Pakistan in the early hours of Tuesday.
The quake struck at 3:38 a.m. INDIAN time, ncs said. The epicentre of the quake was 34.66 degrees north latitude and 73.51 degrees east longitude at a depth of 10 km above the earth's surface. No casualties have been reported so far.
