A terrible earthquake early in the morning! The country shook

BY A STAFF REPORTER: A magnitude 6 earthquake struck Hokkaido, Japan. The German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) confirmed the quake. According to GFZ experts, the epicentre of the quake was at a depth of 46 kilometers (28.58 miles) above the surface. The number of casualties or the extent of damage is not yet known.
