EAM Jaishankar Meets UK Deputy PM Angela Rayner, Discusses Bilateral Ties

Manchester: External Affairs Minister (EAM) S. Jaishankar met with UK Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner during his visit to Manchester, expressing appreciation for her role in facilitating the establishment of India’s new consulate in the city.

"Good to meet Deputy PM Angela Rayner today in Manchester. Her encouragement has been a contribution to setting up of our Consulate," Jaishankar posted on social media.

The two leaders also discussed India-UK bilateral relations, emphasizing efforts to enhance trade and deepen people-to-people exchanges. Strengthening economic ties and expanding cultural collaboration remain key priorities for both nations as they work toward a stronger partnership.
