The death toll from the Nova Kakhovka dam collapse in Ukraine has risen to 14.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: At least 14 people have been killed and more than 2,700 evacuated after the Nova Kakhovka dam collapsed in southern Ukraine. 

Ukraine's Interior Minister Ihor Klimenko said 190 children were among the refugees.

At least 35 people, including five people, were killed and 35 others, including seven children, were missing in the flood-hit areas of Ukraine-controlled Kherson region, Klaymenko said. He added that one person had died in the Mycolave region.

He added that about 162,000 people were without water in the eastern Dnipropetrovsk region, upstream of the dam.
