BY A STAFF REPORTER: Witnesses reported air strikes and clashes minutes after a week-long cease-fire between Sudan's army and paramilitary Rapid Support Forces officially took effect at 9:45 p.m. local time on Monday.
They have reported fighting in northern Khartoum and air strikes in the east of the capital after a Saudi-US-brokered cease-fire took effect.
