Civilians flee from northern Gaza

By a Staff Reporter: The Israeli army has made a big claim this time. The Israeli army says 50,000 civilians have fled northern Gaza into southern Palestinian territory. The Israeli army said they fled because of fighting between Hamas militants and Israeli forces. "They are leaving because they realize that Hamas has lost control in the north and they are safe in the south," army spokesman Daniel Hagari said.
