Civilian killed in Russian air attack on Ukraine

BY A STAFF REPORTER: A civilian has been killed in a drone crash in Ukraine's southern Odesa region, the Ukrainian air force said.

"Nine Iranian-made drones were destroyed in Odessa," Governor Oleh Kiper said. However, one of the downed drones fell in a residential area in the Odessa district and exploded. " 

The air force said its defense systems destroyed a cruise missile in addition to the drone. Russia also launched an Iskander ballistic missile that did not reach its target.
