Canadian PM to visit Kyiv!

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.  "I welcome Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his party representatives to Ukraine," Zelenskiy said. 

After the meeting, the two leaders issued a joint declaration. "The Ukrainian people can rely on Canada, the declaration said. Canada will continue to provide political, financial, humanitarian and military assistance to the Ukraine." 

Canada has pledged more than $8 billion in aid to Ukraine from February 2022.

"Canada continues to provide unprecedented military assistance, including tanks, air defense systems and artillery, and continues to develop new support systems based on Ukraine's needs," the joint declaration said.
