Delhi: Kenneth H. da Nobrega, Brazil's ambassador to India, has reaffirmed the close relationship between Brazil and India, highlighting over 70 years of collaboration in international organizations such as the UN and WTO. "For over 70 years, Brazil and India have been close partners in coordinating in the UN, WTO, and other multilateral organizations," he stated.

Da Nobrega noted that recent discussions are not only taking place in traditional venues like Geneva and New York but are also occurring in Delhi, reflecting the booming bilateral relations in trade, investment, and cooperation. He pointed out that key areas of collaboration include agriculture, energy, and defense.

Commenting on the recent G20 summit, the ambassador remarked, "I think the results achieved under Brazil's presidency of G20 are built solidly on the excellent achievements of the Indian presidency of G20." This statement underscores the collaborative efforts of both nations in international leadership roles.

In a separate note, da Nobrega mentioned that due to an accident, Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva would not be able to attend the upcoming BRICS summit. The ambassador's comments highlight the dynamic and evolving partnership between Brazil and India, paving the way for further cooperation in various sectors.
