Big news: 17 killed at once

By a Staff Reporter: Russian forces continue to attack across Ukraine. This time, Russian forces have launched a new attack on Kherson in Ukraine. The human rights commissioner of Ukraine's parliament said there was heavy Russian shelling in the southern frontline city of Kherson and neighboring areas. At least 17 people are said to have been killed as a result of the shelling. 26 people were also injured in the attack. The injured are under treatment. "The victims are civilians, Russia has deprived them of their basic right to life," Commissioner Dmytro Lubinets  said on Wednesday. Lubinets accused Russia of deliberately targeting civilians. Russia is targeting residential buildings, shops, public transport stops and railways with missiles, he said. Local authorities in Kherson reported at least four separate incidents of Russian shelling of civilian infrastructure. According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the military administration of the Kherson region, the attack caused extensive damage across Kherson. There is widespread panic among the common people. New attacks are feared at any moment. Oleksandr Prokudin said the rescue operation is underway. He said that currently Ukrainian forces are present at the scene. He said that the Ukrainian forces are ready to resist a new attack. He fears that the death toll may increase as a result of the current attack. On the other hand, Russia has accused Ukraine of trying to kill Putin. Russia has claimed that the drone attack was aimed at Putin. However, the president of Ukraine Zelensky denied this claim. He said, Ukraine does not have enough money to attack Putin.
