BY A STAFF REPORTER: An Australian military helicopter crashed on Queensland's Hamilton Island late On Friday night during a military exercise. According to sources, four army officers are missing after a military helicopter crashed. Following the incident, the defence forces suspended Australian-US military exercises. Defense officials, including troops from Japan, France, Germany and South Korea, announced the suspension of the talisman saber exercise after the helicopter crash.
The exercise entered its second week and was testing large-scale logistics, ground combat, amphibious landings and air operations.
