BY A STAFF REPORTER: At least 40 more people were killed in eastern Congo on Tuesday as heavy rains triggered floods and landslides, local authorities said.
In the town of Bukavu, a group of people pulled a car out of the mud on Wednesday and found the body of a woman from below, a witness said.
At least 20 people were killed in Burini village, 50 km from Bukavu, and at least 20 people were killed in Burini village, 31 miles from Bukavu.
