Brutal killings: 30 soldiers killed in one day

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Russian-appointed governor of the occupied Kherson region said the missile attack on Ukrainian troops crossing the Dnipro River caused heavy casualties.

"An Iskander missile hit near the Antonyevsky bridge, killing at least 30 fighters and wounding 12 others," Saldo said. The rest are hiding in summer homes on either side of the bridge. Special forces will launch a final operation in the area. ' 

Fierce fighting has raged in the region for nearly a week as Ukrainian troops set up a bridgehead on the east bank of the Dnipro River.
