Around 5K Devotees Will Attend The Inauguration of BAPS Mandir In UAE
Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra informed that Around 2,000 to 5,000 guests are expected to attend the Inauguration ceremony of the United Arab Emirates' first Hindu temple.
BY A STAFF REPORTER: Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra informed that Around 2,000 to 5,000 guests are expected to attend the Inauguration ceremony of the United Arab Emirates' first Hindu temple. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the ceremony as a chief guest in Abu Dhabi on 14th February during his two-day visit to UAE.
The BAPS Temple Inauguration is one of the key parts of Modi's UAE visit. Moreover, The BAPS temple is the first traditional Hindu temple in the Middle East which can serve up to 10,000 people. Made with Pink Rajasthan Sandstone and Italian marble, the BAPS temple was carved in India and transported to UAE for assembly.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the Ram Mandir Pran-Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya and performed the rituals as the 'chief Yajman' on 22nd January.
