The country has got new security assistance!

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The British-led defence alliance of several European countries has announced a new $116 million package of air defence capabilities for Ukraine. 

Defence ministers of the Joint Operations Force of Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the United Kingdom met on Tuesday. 

The UK government said in a statement that the equipment worth 92 million pounds ($116 million) will be procured through the International Fund of Ukraine (IFU) over the next few months to enhance Ukraine's capacity to protect Ukraine's critical national infrastructure, civilian population and frontline workers.

"This package will provide radar to protect against indiscriminate Russian attacks, as well as guns and a significant amount of ammunition," the statement said. "
