In a powerful gesture symbolizing India’s enduring commitment to interfaith harmony and peaceful coexistence, the all-party Indian parliamentary delegation currently visiting the UAE paid visits to three major religious landmarks: the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the BAPS Hindu Mandir, and the Guru Nanak Darbar Gurudwara.
The official social media page of the Indian Embassy in the UAE shared the update, stating, “The All-party delegation led by @DrSEShinde sends a strong message of harmony, tolerance and peaceful coexistence – the values shared & cherished by India and the UAE.”
Led by Shiv Sena MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde, the delegation includes MPs from across India’s political spectrum and is on a multination tour to strengthen diplomatic ties and mobilize global support against terrorism. In the UAE, the delegation’s focus expanded to include cultural and religious diplomacy.
