Israel and Hamas are engaged in a fierce war.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Jordan's foreign ministry said seven staff at a Jordanian field hospital in northern Gaza were wounded in an Israeli airstrike.

Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said staff were injured while providing aid to wounded Palestinians at the entrance to the hospital's emergency department. Our field hospital staff saw several Palestinians carrying injured people and rushed to the emergency room and as soon as our staff reached the emergency room, they were hit again and about seven of our medical staff were injured. Unfortunately, many more Palestinians have been killed and wounded. "
