BY A STAFF REPORTER: In Gaza, the Palestinian Health Ministry said Israeli forces had killed five medical workers and wounded 10 others.

Israel has been accused of "continuously and deliberately targeting civilian areas, health centers, and especially medical and rescue workers, as well as ambulance vehicles."

Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Kidra said: "The emergency response community is working tirelessly to monitor and respond to the ongoing situation amid widespread risks and challenges. The Israeli occupation medical service has expanded its target parameters to clinics, hospitals and ambulances, resulting in the deaths of five medical crew members and injuries to 10 others. In addition, Israeli aircraft targeted hospitals, rendering the Beit Hanoun hospital ineffective. Medical crews were prevented from entering or leaving the hospital, while the injured were denied care. '
