39 French nationals killed in Hamas attacks on Israel

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The number of French nationals killed in Hamas attacks in Israel has risen to 39, the French Foreign Ministry said. 

"France mourns the tragic death of more French citizens, and the number of French nationals killed in hamas terrorist attacks in Israel has risen to 39," the French foreign ministry said in a statement on Saturday. ' 

"It is now confirmed that some of them have been taken hostage by Hamas," the ministry said, adding that nine French nationals were still missing after the Oct. 7 attack. "
