3 Hamas officers killed in airstrikes

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The IDF and Shin Bet said an airstrike in Gaza's southern Rafah killed a Hamas police officer and two other activists this morning.

The main target of the attack was Ahmed al-Yaqoubi, who the IDF and Shin Bet said were responsible for security arrangements for senior Hamas officials and served as a senior official in the secret police department of the Rafah district.

Hamas military officer Iman Rantisi and another officer from the Rafah district intelligence police department were also killed in the attack, the IDF said.

Footage released by the IDF showed airstrikes hit the three men in the vehicle they were travelling in Rafah.
