BY A STAFF REPORTER: Russia released 22 Ukrainian military officers on Monday after being held as prisoners of war, andrei Yarmac, head of the president's office, said.

"Another 22 Ukrainian soldiers have been brought back from captivity," Yarmak said. They include two officers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, private and non-commissioned officers. They took part in battles in different areas and among the liberated were wounded. ' 

"Every soldier released will be provided with physical and mental rehabilitation and necessary treatment with the help of medical experts," he said. '
