BY A STAFF REPORTER: Hamas' armed wing, the al-Qassam Brigades, said on Sunday that two Israeli hostages had been killed and eight seriously wounded in Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip over the past 96 hours.

Their condition is becoming more dangerous as they cannot provide proper treatment. (Israel) bears full responsibility for the lives of the wounded in light of their continued bombardment," the statement said, regarding the remaining hostages.

According to Israeli estimates, Hamas militants killed 1,200 people and kidnapped at least 250 in southern Israel on October 7 in an unprovoked manner. The Hamas-run health ministry says Israel has killed more than 28,000 Palestinians in military strikes in the Gaza Strip.
