BY A STAFF RREPORTER: At least 11 people are missing after a fire broke out at a holiday home in Wintgenheim in northeastern France. Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said 17 more people had been evacuated, one of whom had been sent to hospital.
The fire broke out in the town of Wintzenheim around 6:30 a.m. local time, according to the local fire service. The accommodation was rented by a company that helps people with disabilities. Efforts are on to bring the fire under control.
