By a Staff Reporter: Dola Yatra is approaching, and people of Sanatan Dharm in India and all over the world celebrate Dola Yatra with great pomp. Dola Yatra is a very sacred festival of Sanatan Dharm. This festival marks the end of bad luck and the beginning of good luck through colors. The Dola Yatra is celebrated on the day of Vasant Panchami.

Not only people of Sanatan Dharm, but people of different religions participate in this festival. An important part of this festival is 'Holika Dahan'. The procession begins with the burning of Holika in the fire. During the burning of Holika, be sure to recite this mantra 'Om Holikaye Namah'. Recite this mantra at least 3 times. After the Holika Dahan is completed, recite this mantra 'Ahakuta bhayatrastaih krata tvang holi balishaih. Atasvaang punaschayami bhuta-bhuti pradayanim'.
