Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, addressing the Virat Yuva Sammelan during the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Smriti Mahotsav in Mathura, linked India’s present-day transformation to the vision articulated by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay more than six decades ago.
Adityanath said the gathering was a moment to reflect on the contributions of the late leader, whose philosophy of integral humanism laid out a roadmap for independent India in the 1950s and 1960s. “The transformation we witness in the country today is deeply rooted in the very philosophy that he articulated with clarity and conviction for independent India and its political leadership of that era,” he remarked.
Calling Upadhyay’s ideas “timeless,” the Chief Minister noted that their relevance continues to guide national policies and direction. “Today, we can clearly see that the vision which he laid out in the 1950s and 1960s is bearing fruit,” he said, underlining that India’s development journey reflects the principles laid down by the thinker.
Adityanath also pointed to the past 11 years as a period of significant change. “Over the past 11 years, we have all witnessed the emergence of a new and transforming India,” he said, highlighting the role of youth in carrying forward this vision of national growth and self-reliance.
