Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh | Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday participated in a ‘Unity March’ in Gorakhpur to mark the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of India’s unity and integrity.
Sharing details on social media, Adityanath said, “No individual, caste, creed, or religion can be greater than the nation.” He added that the ‘Unity March,’ dedicated to the memory of Sardar Patel — often hailed as the Iron Man of India — aims to promote national unity, self-reliance, and awareness about indigenous products.
“I participated today in the ‘Unity March’ organized in Gorakhpur and collectively sang the national song ‘Vande Mataram.’ This ‘Unity March’ is going to be organized in all assembly constituencies of the state,” the Chief Minister stated.
Adityanath expressed confidence that the march would help instill a deep sense of patriotism and unity among citizens while strengthening the call for Aatmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India).
“Through this march, there will be widespread public awareness, along with a sense of nationalism instilled in the heart of every citizen,” he said, paying homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and extending best wishes for the ongoing campaign.
