Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday distributed appointment letters to a fresh batch of recruits, including 2,425 Chief Sevikas and 13 pharmacists, in a ceremony organised in Lucknow. The selections were carried out by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC).
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister emphasised that the recruitment process was fair, transparent, and merit-based, reflecting the government’s commitment to providing equal opportunities to candidates across the state. He said the new appointees would play an important role in strengthening community development programmes and healthcare services in rural and semi-urban areas.
“The state government has ensured that the entire selection process remains free from bias and corruption. This is a step towards creating a more efficient and accountable administration,” Adityanath noted.
Chief Sevikas, who primarily work within the state’s women and child development programmes, are expected to contribute to grassroots-level governance and welfare schemes. The pharmacists, meanwhile, will serve in public health institutions to enhance access to essential medicines and healthcare facilities.
