Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while addressing a public gathering in the Janakpuri Assembly constituency, sharply criticized Delhi’s current state of development. Speaking directly about the capital’s infrastructure and governance, Adityanath said, “This Delhi, which should have set new standards of development, is today yearning for basic amenities. They have played with the future of the youth here.”
The UP CM pointed to the development in neighboring areas like Ghaziabad and Noida, stating, “If you want to see basic amenities and infrastructure, look at Ghaziabad or Noida. These regions have outpaced Delhi in terms of growth and investment.”
Adityanath also turned his focus to the Okhla industrial area in Delhi, which he claimed has seen no investment in the past decade. “Okhla industrial area is in Delhi, but no investment has been made there in the last 10 years. Instead of focusing on development, Kejriwal and his government have focused on settling Bangladeshi infiltrators and Rohingyas,” he added, accusing the Delhi government of misprioritizing resources.
