Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has strongly criticized a remark made by a Trinamool Congress (TMC) Member of Parliament against Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, calling it unparliamentary and objectionable.
In a post shared on social media, Adityanath said, “The unparliamentary and objectionable remark made by a Trinamool Congress MP against the Honorable Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah ji is inexcusable and highly condemnable. This remark, which reveals the political misdeeds of the Trinamool Congress, is an insult to every Indian who believes in Indian democratic values.”
The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister further urged the TMC to take responsibility and issue a public apology. “The Trinamool Congress should immediately apologize to the entire country for this indecent remark,” he stated.
The controversy has sparked strong reactions from political circles, with BJP leaders demanding accountability and respect in parliamentary discourse. The TMC has yet to issue an official response on the matter.
