Bhopal – Madhya Pradesh BJP President VD Sharma has posed sharp questions to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and his party ahead of their planned visit to Mahu, the birthplace of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Speaking at a press conference, Sharma criticized the Congress for its alleged neglect of Mahu during its decades-long rule at the Centre.

“You are most welcome to come, but before coming, please answer this—why, during the 55 years of Congress rule at the Center, did you not make any efforts for Babasaheb Ambedkar's birthplace in Mahu?” Sharma asked. His remarks highlighted the BJP’s ongoing efforts to position itself as a party committed to honoring Ambedkar's legacy.

Sharma accused the Congress of failing to recognize the significance of Mahu and neglecting Ambedkar’s contributions during its governance. He contrasted this with the BJP’s efforts to promote Ambedkar’s ideals and preserve his legacy, emphasizing the development projects and initiatives undertaken under the BJP government.
